I have read several of Ms. Hartley’s
books and have loved the attention about relationships, she puts in writing. Jennifer
Hartley has done it again, Hearts Afire has the steam this author
is known for; but, also brings us a book that is filled with a new beginning to
a relationship, that deepens the characters relationship that has been
lingering. This will not be my normal review, just a fast-typed review for the release of her wonderful book; more to come later. I wanted to post my personal feelings in a review as soon as this book was posted, and help other readers find a wonderful book. I give this book, after a quick (first) read a rating of 4-stars. Well done.

Fallen Angel 1: Ashes of Eden
by J. L. Myers
Fallen Angel 1: Ashes of Eden is a
beautiful romance novel with an astonishing storyline that is filled
with so
much emotion and depth. An incredible storyline that vaguely follows along with
biblical creations; yet it is so well written it manages to surprise the reader
in ways that could never be thought possible with the many trials and hardships
that the characters had to endure and those tender moments they shared.
The characters are well-developed, that
the readers can relate with through each emotion journey. With an
amazing heroine that is an independent woman who stood on her own feet and is such
a sweetheart; she saw the leading male for who he was, and she cared about the
good and bad in him. Extraordinary characters that endure so many hardships and
yet, they stick it out and love each other; regardless of their flaws and
mistakes to get the HEA.
J. L. Myers words
are well
written and flowed beautifully with tons of chemistry between her characters,
and even created a unique take on an angel that is typically considered to be a
villain, an anti-hero, showing both the good and bad. J.
L. Myers has a writing skill that is so poetic; conveying the emotions of the
characters so well that the reader feels
as if they are a part of the story. “Well done!”
Fallen Angel 1:
Ashes of Eden is an amazing first installment to a beautiful and romantic, 5-book
paranormal romance fantasy series, I am excited and cannot wait to read Fallen
Angel book 2: Dawn of Reckoning. Then on to Fallen Angel book 3: Breaking
Lucifer, which sounds amazing also. Continuing the series with Fallen Angel book
4:Cold-Blooded Fate and ending the series with Fallen Angel book 5: Falling
Stars. I am a huge JL Myers fan, my obsession with her story began with her
Blood Bond series and it has never stopped! J. l. Myers has created a start to
her series that gets a 4.5-star rating and gifted me a copy of her first book
and I am freely posting my thoughts and feeling on her book. Her books can also be found on Amazon.

Humor flourishes in Raising
Prosperity, a clever story; but not what you would think this book is about from
the title. The plot of Raising Prosperity has it all; this is a page-turner filled
with intrigue, twists and turns, suspense, action-packed, and a cozy little murder
mystery; keeping the readers interest from page one. A book and series for
those wanting
to be entertained, intrigued; while their brain is tickled start reading and
enjoying the Prosperity series by David Berens. The quirky comedy is a perfect stress-free
read, light and fluffy.
The characters of the Prosperity series have
a worldly wisdom and you cannot but love them. Really remarkable characters,
interacting in ways that make them come alive. Our heroine is gutsy, smart and
funny at the same time; has the role of a forensic service consultant with the
PD, in forensic pathology and investigator and is assisting in solving a murder.
One male a Detective Sargent of the Martha’s Vineyard Police Department,
a
source of extraneous information on life and more, coupled with a handsome Business
Management student and volunteer fireman, make this book filled with testosterone.
Raising Prosperity is a clever story
written by a talented author, David Berens. The Author is a genius and has done
a fantastic job at bringing the story and the characters to life. The authors
writing styles and storytelling creates a book that begs to be read in one
sitting, and when a book complete leaves the reader wanting to read the next in
the series. I was attracted to this series by David Berens' name and to this
book by the very cool cover. I have to say that I was interested in this second
book in the very first chapter, I was grinning, and chuckling throughout the
book.
Raising Prosperity was a very fun read, had
a fun time reading it and I am looking forward the next two books furthering
the adventures of Prosperity. I enjoyed the interaction of the
characters in this new series from the first book Finding Prosperity and I am
sure that the feeling will continue throughout the rest of the series. I expect
nothing less though from this author, this is a gem; I highly recommend this
book and series are a must read. As a beta reader, I am willing to write
reviews for the authors to help spread the news of their books. I rate this
book and the author both with a 4.5-star rating.

The Shattered Throne
It's a Trust Thing is fast pace, sweet story with several
obstacles with some unexpected trials along the way. It is the second book of
the series, (Dirty Damsels, the first book); a great book and series. The characters
are real and extravagant, their motives clear and rational. A sassy heroine; big
city wise, and business savvy, is focused on her business; but struggles with
many personal issues. Our hero, Professor Hot body, is so hot (worthy of the reader
becoming a bit warm); is just the guy she needs to help her start trusting
again. The readers cannot help but to feel some of the steam between the
characters.
Ms. Peggy Jaeger’s writing talents; paints
a picture in her storyline that makes it impossible for the reader to put down
the book, until seeing the whole thing. Drawing the reader in from the start
and keeps them on the edge of the seat through; the laughter and the tears. Ms.
Peggy Jaeger is one of my new authors, and I like the depth of emotion she
packs in her books; surpassing other authors, with the use of the first-person
POV. Ms. Peggy Jaeger can quickly become, a must-read author for many readers of
this genre; she does not disappoint.
Not having read book one in the series,
did not matter (I will be soon!), it was easy to pick up on the storyline. I
really enjoyed the book with the ups and down, like most romance books; but
this book has some dark family secrets. I could not put this book down, once I
started reading; scrolling through the pages so fast. I recommend everyone to
read, It’s a Trust Thing and readers set some uninterrupted reading time aside;
readers will not be able to put this book down. I am looking forward to the
next story from Ms. Jaeger. 5-stars, well done!

Dangerous Currents
Dangerous Currents
by Kathryn Knight
Dangerous Currents is set in a small
town on Cape Cod, and is a good second chance romance, filled with resentment,
insecurities, secrets, danger and mystery; a perfect for a cold, winter night. Attracting
the read from the first chapter, with a story line that is quite unique and characters
that are kindly damaged and well developed and the chemistry between her
characters; the reader can connect to the character’s internal
mayhem, as if they were real people.
Author Kathryn Knight writes romantic
suspense stories with dark twisty plots, fascinating the readers and keeping the
readers turning the pages, until they have finished the whole book. Ms. Kathryn
Knight has a wonderful writing talent; she writes the setting of the stories where
it virtually becomes like another character. The reader feels as though they
are there with the characters; walking along the sandy beach or the forest
along the shoreline. And bringing in the danger in an imaginative way; so, the
readers will not forget it is still a part of the storyline. Readers
both exciting and satisfied; while on the edge of their seat all at the same
time.
I recommend Dangerous Currents, a summertime
beach read, to any reader looking for a suspenseful read. Also, the reader should
read some of Ms. Kathryn Knight's other books with titles like: Haunted Souls,
Gull
Harbor, Silver Lake and Divine Fall; the reader will not be
disappointed with any of Ms. Kathryn Knight’s stories. Both books I
have read (Divine Fall and Dangerous Currents) are 5-star reads! Thank you, Ms.
Kathryn, for sharing your stories and your writing talents, I feel in love with
the characters and the storyline; definitely a book to re-read.

The List: Alyssa’s Revenge

The List is the second in the Deep State
Mystery series, with a flair of the supernatural mixed with a bit of suspense;
will have the readers coming back for more. An engaging story
with hard-hitting suspense and astonishing evens; grabs
the readers from page one. The readers will be moved by the storyline; which is
filled with political intrigue, crime, ghost, and romance; hits this one out of
the park.
Be prepared to go on an emotional ride,
that totally sucks the reader in and has the pages turning in this amazing book
where; intrigue and suspense, romance and strong friendships are pulled
together in a well written story by an amazing author. Ms. Casi
McLean has a great writing talent for spinning a tale and creating awesome
characters with undeniable chemistry, that work well together. It is suggested
to read Reign of Fire, book 1 of the Deep State Mysteries series, first; but it
is not necessary.
I really loved and enjoyed this book;
I was not able to put the book down all day, the best page-turner. I appreciate
it, when the good guys cause chaos and misery for the bad guys! I cannot wait
for the next one. I now have, another new author to be proud of reading. Thank
you, Ms. McLean for sharing this excellent work with us;
deserving of a 5-star rating. Well Done!!

Wild, Wild Rake

Wild, Wild Rake is a fun read with a rollercoaster
ride of the feelings, a heart-rending pursuit as the characters face their
fears and uncertainties. A story that has a bit of everything: hearsay, manipulation,
misjudging, lingering scars, doubts, hostility, trust issues and a bit of
romance. A page turner that keeps the readers interest from the first chapter, setting
the pace of the book and defines the future of the stories characters.
The characters are
well-developed and are perfect for one another; a greedy
social climber and a victim of circumstance. Our heroin is strong and brave
woman, and Our hero is sent to spy on her. The strength of hero was spot on,
and he challenges her and provokes her, just to see the sparkle in her eyes and
she unsettles him at every turn. They realized the goodness in each other,
which helps build on this story and they have found their happily ever after.
Ms. Janna MacGregor has a talent for
writing wonderful characters that are far more complex than what they appear, they
are multi-faceted. Janna MacGregor speaks to her readers with her writing and
pulls them in with her creative words, finding that love truly can win at the
end of the day and redeem those who thought never thought to have it. Her writing
is perfect, the characters are amazing, and their interaction make for a
delicious read. I expected nothing less from this talented author. I am a new
Janna McGregor fan and love how she wrote this book, and this is the most
amazing book.
Readers should be prepared to be
swept of their feet while reading Wild, Wild Rake, which is more a tale of
healing than one of hostility. They will be thoroughly captivated by the
love/hate battle between the two main characters then developing into a
teasing/sensual banter as the sparks began to fly. I
read it in one setting and I highly recommend reading this book. I was gifted
an ARC of Wild, Wild Rake, which deserves a 5-star rating.

The Shattered Throne is book 3 of The
Kronicals of Korthilundia series and is an enchanting story right from the
start with a life in ancient times of lords and ladies. A story filled with love
and sorrow, of fierce loyalty and obscenest betrayal that brings the reader to
tears, of tenderness and of brutality leaving the readers shocked, of what they
have just read! Characters are very well-developed and deep, with such a
connection and deep love; that is truly amazing. The Shattered Throne shows
that a Queens position must stay strong and rising even higher, even when
things go terribly wrong and an honor system of those who remain
loyal to their Kingdom and Queen.
Ms. Jamie Marchant writing
style, springs from her pages of this novel, and the development of a complex
world is methodically thought out the story. Ms. Marchant weaves
a series with a magical world that does
not stop growing, it has everything readers could ever want in a long and
beautiful series. The Shattered Throne such an amazing book and I am hoping to
read epic reunion in book four.
A very well written book, an unexpected
pleasure to read I was pleasantly surprised with the well-developed characters
and interesting plot twists. I feel like everyone should read every single book
in this series; it does not disappoint the readers. Another triumph in this
series with crazy plots, fantastic world building and astonishing cast of
characters; quite possibly the best story in the series. Credit to the author
for making a book within a series that stands on its own, receives 5-stars.

and Fire starts this series out, whit an interesting story about coping the past and moving on, with a
happy-ever-after ending, and a twist. This book has a great lineup of
characters with real life issues that readers can relate with
and the backstory of the characters will hit the readers in the heart. Our
heroin is healing a broken heart with trust issues and has escaped from traumatic
events. Our heroes: two sexy hot and steamy firemen, one is sweet and caring,
while the other is completely the opposite self-assured and self-central. These
two-different heroes not only work they live together and make everything work.
A fantastic story, dealing with a steamy MFM romance and a making for a great
read, before the reader realizes it, they are close to the end of the story. I
enjoyed reading this book as there is interesting insights
into the world of MFM romance and relationships. 5-stars

Temptations and Trouble is book 2 in the
wonderful Surrender to Them book set, this book is a
fast paced and an entertaining read, dealing
with revealing truth, trust and is a great world building story. The
characters in this story are well-developed and end up building an intense
relationship, the other side of the MFM relationships, kind of on the hard-core
side.
While, Temptations and Trouble is a good
story and can be read as a standalone and the story has the ability to keep the
readers turning the pages, it is not suitable for all ages and not to every
reader’s liking and taste for a book. Ms. Kelli Callahan has
done a terrific job writing this book, even though it was on the hard-core
side. I did finish reading to give an honest review. 5-stars

A very was sexy and hot story to read for readers with an open mind, the attraction between two hot, as hell men knowing what a woman wants even if she does not know it herself, in this MFM story is sizzling.
Ms. Kelli Callahan did another fantastic job on this story to keep her readers captivated. I was apprehensive at first, as I was not as excited with the second book, half expecting the same kind of storyline. This is an amazing and riveting story, that keeps the readers captivated from first chapter to last; learning things about their own desires and not expecting to find it so striking to read.

captivated from the very first page, Heat and Desire is a wonderful story to

Ms.
Kelli Callahan has done a terrific job writing these
books, each can be read as a standalone; but they work together in a book set,
a great binge read!!! The 2 alpha males and a virgin, exploring different
aspects of the submissive/dominant relationships.
Surrender To Them is intended for readers
with an open-minded, mature readers as these books are dealing with a steamy
MFM romance and is not intended for all ages. These four books are filled with
intense sexual acts, spankings, love, and yes, dominance. I was offered this
book set as an ARC, for my honest review and granting this book set 5-stars.

new life to come. Each of the books in this incredible series can be read as
standalone.
The characters are very
well-written and descriptive; from the way they look, how they talk, the
hardships they have endured and are easy to like. Readers will develop a love for
the characters, will respect them and find encouragement.
Ms. Lynda Cox has a way
with words, as she writes, she gives her characters life.
Her characters can teach us something; when it comes to strength, forgiveness
and making changes in our lives. Thank you, Ms. Lynda Cox, normally
I do not read westerns; but this book changed my mind, now I really do love a
good western story and I am unquestionably going to be reading this whole
series.
Hidden Redemption is my
third book to have read in this series (not in order), I have enjoyed each of
them. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series!! I recommend those that
enjoy reading Western Romance stories read the Redemption Bluff series or for anyone
that is looking for a different genre of book to read. A fun read the is
receiving a 4.5-star rating.
